If a Data Stream is deleted, are the events collected by that data stream also removed?

I want to remove a data stream from a GA4 property and ensure that any events or data it has collected are also deleted.

In the admin dashboard, I see a section for deleting a "Data Stream," but I couldn't find any specific details about what happens to the data already captured by that data stream.

Upon deleting a Data Stream in GA4, all the data collected by the stream will be permanently erased. There will be no option to recover the deleted data as well.
