I've recently updated all UTMs for my Twitter campaigns. Previously, they were labeled as "Twitter Sponsored," but now they are classified as "Twitter Paid." However, when analyzing the data in GA4 (Google Analytics 4), the values are showing up for both "Paid" and "Sponsored" mediums. Moreover, upon checking the data channel-wise, it appears in both "Organic" and "Paid Social" channels.

The presence of both "paid" and "sponsored" mediums in your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reports is due to the lack of updated UTM parameters. UTM parameters play a vital role in tracking the source and medium of traffic to your website or app. Therefore, when you modify the UTM parameters for your Twitter campaigns, it is essential to ensure that you also update them in GA4 to accurately reflect the changes.

To make changes to your UTM parameters in GA4, adhere to these instructions:

    1. Access your GA4 property.
    2. Navigate to the "Admin" tab.
    3. Choose "Tracking info".
    4. Click on "UTM parameters".
    5. Input the updated UTM parameters for your Twitter campaigns.
    6. Save your changes by clicking on "Save".

After modifying your UTM parameters, it might take a few days for the updates to be visible in your GA4 reports. If you continue to observe both "paid" and "sponsored" mediums in your GA4 reports even after waiting for a few days, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

1.Ensure you are using the most up-to-date version of GA4.
2.Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
    3.Attempt accessing GA4 through a different browser.
4.Seek assistance from Google Analytics support if needed.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting UTM parameter issues:
1.Double-check that you are utilizing the appropriate UTM parameters.
2.Verify that you have correctly entered the UTM parameters.
3.Confirm that you are using the UTM parameters in the correct format.
4.Make sure the UTM parameters are placed in the appropriate location for accurate tracking.
