    I have too many properties - and 3 running on wordpress at the same time Account Management Sept. 12, 2023, 11:01 a.m.

    I have several properties that cannot be removed because they are connected to GA4, even though they shouldn't be. Some of these properties are empty with no history.

    Additionally, I'm encountering difficulties in removing them from my WordPress site. The system is indicating that I lack the necessary permissions, despite being the administrator.

    Is GA4 not tracking all of the users? How to track all user numbers then? Reporting Sept. 12, 2023, 10:58 a.m.

    I've recently transitioned to GA4, but I've observed a substantial decline in the number of users reported in Analytics. This decrease is considerably lower than what I would anticipate based on the historical trend before the transition and the data I see concurrently in Webmaster Tools.

    I'm currently only seeing approximately 15% of the visits that I would typically expect to be tracked.

    I've integrated GA4 into my website using the official WordPress plugin and have ensured that all available updates are applied.

    Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or can provide insights into how to address this issue?

    In GA4, the "New Users" segment shows higher count vs the overall number of users. Reporting Sept. 12, 2023, 10:54 a.m.

    What can be the reason for this?

    Is there a way to make an Exploration to add AVERAGE value of an event parameter? Code Implementation Sept. 12, 2023, 10:51 a.m.

    2 / 2

    I'm an IT professional, and I'm relatively new to using Google Analytics.

    I'm currently working on implementing GA4 for gathering custom data from a web application.

    I'm utilizing the GA Measurement Protocol to transmit custom events, some of which come with custom parameters. For example, each time a player completes a game, I send a "game_gameover" event with a payload like this:

    yaml
    Copy code
    {
    score: 123,
    level: "dungeon",
    monstersKilled: 11,
    gameDuration: 112
    }
    I've set up custom dimensions to capture these custom parameters, and they're being recorded properly. What I'm aiming to achieve is:

    Go to Explore and create a new Exploration.

    Add a column displaying the AVERAGE gameDuration.

    Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

    How can I filter data based on the landing page only in GA4? Reporting Aug. 7, 2023, 11 a.m.

    I am attempting to add a filter to a GA4 report where I want to include data with the landing page "/abc/" along with any query string present.

    However, I only see one metric option called "Landing Page + Query String," and when I try to add "/abc/" as the value, it results in an exact match, not including cases like "/abc/?def=123".

    Is there a way to include the landing page "/abc/" with any query string? Can regular expressions be used for this purpose? I tried using regexp, but it doesn't seem to work.

    Why is GA4 sending events with today's date. How can I prevent this? Reporting Aug. 7, 2023, 10:55 a.m.
    @agkhy
    @carora

    Since the installation of GA4, I've noticed that events are consistently being sent with the current date, without any manual implementation on my part.

    I'm concerned about the accumulation of these events, as they might quickly reach the custom events limit and cause issues. I'd like to understand the reason behind this behavior and learn how to disable it.

    Thank you

    I haven't encountered events like these before. Have you implemented a dataLayer or integrated any other third-party tools with GA4 on your website?

    It appears that disabling these events might not be possible.

    The implementation is through Google Tag Manager (GTM) with a basic config tag and several events tags. Even after adding a custom variable with a GTM template to remove URL queries from reports, the events with the current date continue to appear. This issue started before the template was added, and the cause remains unclear. The events persist, with 1 to 4 occurrences daily. Any insights or solutions would be appreciated.

    Migrating Data to a GA4 Account? Account Management July 24, 2023, 7:01 a.m.

    Hi,

    After creating a mobile app for a marketplace, our current objective is to disconnect our project from the existing analytics account and associate it with a GA4 account. The original account contains two weeks' worth of data from the mobile apps, while the GA4 account holds data related to the marketplace's website.

    How can we achieve this transition without losing the data we already have from the past two weeks?

    Fractional Conversion Numbers?? Identifying Conversions July 24, 2023, 5:41 a.m.
    @ljain

    Can anyone please explain why the second column (Conversions) does not display integer values?

    A person clicks on one of your advertisements and accesses the website.

    Subsequently, they return to the site through a link on Facebook.

    Later, they visit again by searching on Google.

    Finally, they make a purchase, thus completing the conversion.

    Would you prefer to attribute credit for the purchase to paid ads, social media, or organic means? Alternatively, do you believe that each touchpoint should receive a share of the credit, represented as a fraction of the overall conversion?

    After transitioning from Universal Analytics to GA4, my 'All users' audience count is displaying an inaccurate value, indicating only 1 user. Interestingly, this issue seems to be limited to a particular project, as all my other projects are functioning as expected.

    Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

    How can I resolve the issue of UTMs appearing for both paid and sponsored mediums in GA4 Reporting June 16, 2023, 10:46 a.m.

    Hi agkhy here's my suggestion , this could help you with the issue.

    The presence of both "paid" and "sponsored" mediums in your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reports suggests that your UTM parameters have not been updated. UTM parameters are used to track the source and medium of traffic to your website or app. To update them in GA4, follow these steps: Go to your GA4 property, click on the "Admin" tab, select "Tracking info," choose "UTM parameters," enter the new parameters for your Twitter campaigns, and save the changes. It may take a few days for the updates to reflect in your reports. If the issue persists, try troubleshooting steps like clearing cache, using a different browser, or contacting Google Analytics support for assistance. Ensure the correctness of your UTM parameters in terms of format, location, and entry, and seek support if needed.
