Follow these steps to set up a custom column view that includes your custom event
Step 1: Go to Meta Ads Manager
- Go to adsmanager.facebook.com and sign in with your credentials.
- Choose the Ad Account where your campaigns are running.
Step 2: Click on Columns > Customize Columns
- At the top right of the table view, click “Columns”.
- Select “Customize Columns…” from the dropdown. OR If you’re using an existing column set, select “Edit (pen icon)” to modify it directly instead of starting from scratch.
Step 3: Search & Add Funnel Metrics
To add custom events:
- Search for the exact event name (as set in your pixel or server-side setup).
- Tick the checkbox next to it.
Step 4: Rearrange for Funnel Order
- On the right side of the box, drag and drop the selected metrics to reorder them into a logical funnel flow
- This makes it easy to read the flow and drop-offs across the funnel.
Step 5: Save the funnel
- Click Save as Preset at the bottom OR Save if it is an existing custom funnel.
- Give it a name like Full Funnel View with Custom Events.
- Click Apply to start using this view.
Step 6: Analyze Funnel Drop-offs
- Now, on your campaign/ad set/ad level, you’ll see the full funnel view.
