you can now create a custom conversion to optimise your campaigns more effectively.
Step 1: Log into Meta Ads Manager
- Go to adsmanager.facebook.com and sign in with your credentials.
Step 2: Open Events Manager
Once you’re logged in, click on the menu in the top-left corner and select Events Manager.
Alternatively, you can go directly to Events Manager here: Meta Events Manager

Step 3: Go to Data Sources
- In the left-hand sidebar, click on Data Sources to view your Pixels.

Step 4: Select Your Pixel
- Choose the Pixel that’s linked to your website. Click on it to open the details.

Step 5: Start Creating a Custom Conversion
- In the top-right corner, click Create → then choose Create Custom Conversion.

Step 6: Fill Out the Custom Conversion Form
- Name: Give your conversion a clear name, for example, ei_Purchase or ei_Lead
- Data Source: Select your EasyInsights Pixel
- Action Source: Choose Website
- Event: Select the specific event you want to create a custom conversion for (e.g., PageView, Purchase, or any custom event)
- Under Rules, choose URL Contains or URL Equals
- Enter the part of the URL that corresponds to that event’s success page—for example /thank-you, /order-confirmation, or the page path users land on after that event fires
- This tells Meta to treat visits to this page along with the selected event as a conversion.

- At the bottom of the form, you’ll see a checkbox that says “Enter a conversion value”.
- It’s usually better to leave this unchecked unless you want to assign a fixed value to every conversion manually.

Step 7: Save It
Click Create, and you’re done! Meta will now track conversions when the chosen event fires and the URL rule matches.
