How to create Google Search Console dashboards on Google Data Studio?

To create a Google Search Console Dashboard on Datastudio using EasyInsights, follow these steps –

STEP 1 : Log in to the EasyInsights Account and the screen below will appear. Select the workspace of choice. ( a new workspace can also be created by clicking the “New Workspace” button). For the purpose of this guide, we have created a new workspace by the name of Test.

STEP 2 : On opening Test Workspace, the following screen appears which details the steps to build a dashboard. The first step is to create a Dataview. A dataview is a table that holds all the information which you want to transport from Google Search Console to Datastudio. Whenever data is updated in the Search Console account associated with EasyInsights, the dataview synced with that account also automatically updates. These changes are reflected in the Datastudio, all in real-time.. Click on the Get Started button to start the process of creating a dataview

STEP 3 : A screen titled “Data Sources” will appear. We have to first add the data source whose information is to be presented via Datastudio. There is a “See All” option where a multitude of platforms are given. In this case, we will choose the Google Search Console platform.

After an account is chosen and access is granted, EasyInsights will ask for additional access to the Google Account so that it can sync with the Search Console. Click on Continue.

STEP 8 : If the chosen dimensions and their metrics are compatible, then the query will run successfully and the screen below will appear. The table created here is your dataview. There’s also a download CSV option here to download the dataview.

STEP 9 :  In order to proceed further, it is essential to save this dataview. Click on the Save Dataview button. The following pop-up appears where the name of the dataview is mentioned, and duration of the data to be fetched is specified. The dataview can be previewed to ensure correctness. Now click on the save dataview button. Dataview is created.

STEP 10 : Now that the dataview is created, we are led to the Import in BI tool screen. Here EasyInsights provides the Google Datastudio by default (meaning, it is an activated destination by default). In the activated destination column, all the credentials will be mentioned. They will be required to create a conduit that transfers the dataview to Datastudio. Now select the dataview (in this case, SearchConsole1) that is to be presented via Datastudio, and click on the Go to Datastudio button
